New York Rangers Daily Poll: 3/23/14

Good afternoon New York Rangers fans! It’s time to talk about the playoffs! As the postseason is 24 calendar days away and the Metropolitan division is still the tightest in the NHL it’s starting to break away ever so slightly and it’s become a little clearer who the possible first round playoff opponents for the Rangers are. So the question is, which team would you rather have the Rangers play in round one of the playoffs?

Bruce Fedyck-USA TODAY Sports

The biggest possibility is the Philadelphia Flyers, who if things keep going the way they are is the most probable match. The Flyers will either end up second in the division and play the third seeded Rangers, or will end up third in the division and play the second seeded Rangers.

The second possibility is that the Rangers end up in the first Wild Card spot and play the team with the second most points in the conference which will most likely be the Pittsburgh Penguins. Or the last possibility is that the Rangers end up in the second wild card spot and play the number one team in the conference which will most likely be the Boston Bruins.

So Rangers fans you tell us, who would you rather play in the first round of the playoffs? Vote in the poll below!
