New York Rangers Roundup

Good evening New York Rangers fans! Everyone should still be glowing after last night’s HUGE win against the Philadelphia Flyers. That slash at the end of the game was a typical Flyers move from Wayne Simmonds but what do you expect? The game was as good as over but who can blame Dan Girardi for sticking up for his teammate? Henrik Lundqvist made some really amazing saves last night, here is one of the best on the night:

Saves like this are why Lundqvist is called “The King”. These are the moments Rangers fans live to see in every game.

During last night’s game, “Doc” made a comment about Ryan McDonagh being included in the discussions for the Norris Trophy. Rangers’ fans know McDonagh is Norris worthy, but others are jumping on the bandwagon as if to say they’ve known all along he should be a candidate, or to say McDonagh has finally emerged as a leading candidate.

With Avery appearing on the hit TV show “Dancing With The Stars”, he put himself back in the spotlight. Avery was voted off the show and so Brodeur found himself in the mix. He did not have anything nice to say; no surprise anyway. In his own fashion, Avery fired back at the player he cannot stand. Love him or hate him, every Ranger fan smiles when they see this:

So there’s the news, as an evening edition. Remember to keep checking back for all of your news and updates about the New York Rangers and what they are doing.
