New York Rangers at Vancouver Canucks: Three Stars

In head coach Alain Vigneault’s regular season return to Rogers Arena in Vancouver, the New York Rangers won 3-1 against the Canucks last night. Their hold of second place in the Metropolitan Division was reinforced with another two points; extending their lead over the Philadelphia Flyers to three. Here were last night’s three stars according to the NHL:

1st star-Henrik Lundqvist with 34 of 35 saves, and a save percentage of .971 in 59:58 of ice time.

2nd star-Ryan Kesler with one goal on three shots on goal, a +1 rating, and 22:10 of ice time.

3rd star-Benoit Pouliot with one goal on four shots and 15:09 of ice time.

My three stars were:

2nd Star- Ryan Kesler
3rd Star- Martin St. Louis
