The New York Rangers made the first move in their post season chess match with the Philadelphia Flyers. The first game of round one was exciting and eventful. Players stepped up their game and Madison Square Garden was rocking. Carl Hagelin took a stick to the face, which yielded a four-minute power play featuring two goals. Rick Nash put the puck on net and kept the pressure on heavy. The NHL announced their three stars and it’s hard to argue.
“Zucc” put the Rangers on the scoreboard to tie the game, and that wasnt all he did. In his 16:30 of ice time last night, Zucc had seven shots on goal, one hit, one give away, and one take away. Zucc took one penalty and played 2:37 of power play time.
