Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Rangers were leading the Philadelphia Flyers by two goals early in game two. Benoit Pouliot and Martin St. Louis did their jobs getting the Rangers on the board. After that everything fell apart. It was a slow spiraling decent into a maddening abyss over the last 40 minutes of the game. From top to bottom the team was a complete mess. The NHL released their three stars of the game and they were all Flyers. There’s no reason to have chosen a single Ranger player. The official stars were:

Third Star:
Jakub Voracek
Second Star:
Luke Shenn
First Star:
Ray Emery
I don’t know that I would have made Emery the first star, but who am I to nitpick? So here are my cement pucks from game two and they are a slam for sure.
