New York Rangers Poll: 4/24/14

Good afternoon New York Rangers fans the poll is back! Currently the Rangers have a 2-1 series lead over the Philadelphia Flyers and game four will be played tomorrow night at the Wells Fargo Center. Flyers Captain Claude Giroux has guaranteed a game four victory for the Flyers, and that the series will be tied going back to New York. My question for Rangers fans today is, will the Rangers win this first round series against the Flyers, if you say yes, what game will they close out the series? Game 5, game 6 or game 7?

The Rangers took a split in the first two games at Madison Square Garden, winning game one 4-1 and losing game two 4-2. The Rangers put a lot of effort and emotion into game one and that’s what got them the victory, after going up two goals in game two the Rangers sat back and that cost them the second game. The Rangers went into Philadelphia and knew they had to bring their emotion back if they had a chance at winning game three and that is exactly what they did. In game three the Rangers played with fire, passion, and a bit of an edge that came from Dan Carcillo and they rolled over the Flyers 4-1 in game three at the Wells Fargo Center. If they want to end this series quickly, they’ll do the same in game four and in game five.

In all three games that have been played so far, Ray Emery has backstopped the Philadelphia Flyers. However, the Flyers announced today that number one goaltender Steve Mason will return from his upper-body injury and will have his first playoff start as a Flyer on Friday night. Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said that the Rangers are concentrating on adapting to a different goalie and how to beat him. Will Mason change the series for the Flyers? Or will the Rangers goal scorers solve him and win the series?

Rangers fans let me know what you think! Will the New York Rangers advance to the next round, and how many games will it take to do so? Vote in the poll below!
