Happy Monday, 21 July 2014. Another week at the grindstone called work.
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks. From free agent signings to trades. Even some award nominations for our New York Rangers team. Here are just a few articles we had cooked up from last week.
Our resident contributor, BT Farley, gave us some food for thought. One of his articles had to deal with Rick Nash and the captaincy. Could the player be jump started if the “C” was given to him? Would his game finally be realized if he were to take on the responsibilities of carrying a team? You may read about it here. Other articles by BT include the Youth Movement, Trade Assets, and his views on the Upcoming 2014-2015 New York Rangers team. His latest article about Chris Kreider is worth a read and brings up some good points.
Our newest voice, Jen Yates, has made her presence known in a short period of time. Having only joined last Thursday, she has already added her two cents. Her recent article on Lee Stempniak allows you to get to know the player and what he could potentially add to the New York Rangers lineup. Just click the hyperlink to read her article. But it’s not all hockey. In another article by Jen, she covered Henrik Lundqvist and his nominations at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award show. Even though he did not leave with an award, the recognition he received is not only spotlighting this smooth operator. Also, it is helping to raise the game of hockey among mainstream media. Finally, I have a couple of articles to tickle your fancy. Last week, I asked for your opinion about an article published by NBCSports.com. In the post, possible salary requests were speculated regarding Mats Zuccarello and Derick Brassard. Of the 105 total votes cast, 69% believe in giving the Rangers players their money. A majority believe that the two players have done enough to warrant their demands. Other articles that may interest you are Matthew Lomadardi, Rangers Veteran Leadership, and Lundqvist’s desire to stay in New York.
We hope to get you through this offseason.
We do it cause you read it, that’s Rangers Hockey!
