Ranger Assets

Kevin Hayes – At 26, Kevin Hayes is one of the youngest impending unrestricted free agents.  He has a good reputation as a two-way forward who can elevate his play.  His possession stats are the best since his rookie season.  Though he is headed for his worst goal scoring season, his 34 career playoff games will make him attractive to a contender.  However, he will be far from the top forward available at the deadline.

Mats Zuccarello –  The 30 year old  Zuccarello would be an attractive addition to any playoff bound team.  He’s a brilliant passer who has led the Rangers in scoring for the last three seasons. Immensely popular, he’s a veteran of 60 playoff games.

Adam McQuaid –  McQuaid has been injured most of the season, but he has one Stanley Cup on his resume and a reputation as a tough, solid defenseman.

Cody McLeod –  Don’t assume there won’t be interest in a tough forward who brings energy and muscle to a lineup.
