So, is there anyone the Rangers could use? A quick trip around the internet revealed a list of potential buyout candidates. Most make a lot of sense with few surprises. Here’s a team by team list of the names most mentioned:

Again, this is nothing but pure speculation. It has to be noted that on all lists, Henrik Lundqvist was mentioned most often as the Rangers’ amnesty buyout candidate with Marc Staal and Brendan Smith also on some lists (including ours).
