It’s time to take a trip down memory lane and look back on Kevin Hayes‘ top five goals of the 2014-15 season. And what a season it was for the New York Rangers rookie.

#5 – Kevin Hayes’ First NHL Goal

For a hockey player, there surely aren’t many better feelings than scoring your first NHL goal. Kevin Hayes’ first NHL goal came mid-way through the third period in a game against the San Jose Sharks. His goal gave the Rangers a solid 4-0 lead, which ended up being the last goal of the game as well.

The goal from a good intercepting play by Hayes, where he then tried to score a wrap around goal, but in the process ended up giving himself a good rebound, and was then able to score a quick wrist shot over the glove side of Alex Stalock.
