Over the next week, we will be releasing a series of report cards for the New York Rangers here at the Blue Line Station. In this edition, we will review the members of the Rangers defensive group.

There is no mistaking what the biggest weakness of the 2016-17 New York Rangers team is. The team’s defensive group has been a topic of conversation for multiple seasons, and this season is no exception.

With the likes of Dan Girardi and Kevin Klein bringing down the team’s overall play, it has been the task of captain Ryan McDonagh and rookie Brady Skjei to help propel this group. Blue Line Station jumps in with the defensive edition of the New York Rangers Report Cards!
