Every offseason NHL teams undergo roster turnover, and the New York Rangers are no different. Blue Line Station takes a look into the future and brings you 5 players we think will be Rangers for the 2017-18 season.

Jeff Gorton has done an admirable job in his first two seasons as the team’s GM. Most importantly, he has began to separate himself and his decision from his predecessor, Glen Sather. Next season will prove important towards Gorton and the Rangers extending their contention window.

The team is set to lose valuable players to the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft this coming offseason. Whether it be a big-time signing like Kevin Shattenkirk, or a minor-league call-up like Ryan Graves, Gorton seems primed to continue his savvy, and will retool the team as needed.
