1. Matt Rempe
If there's any player who knows how to be aggressive on the Rangers' roster, it's budding young star Matt Rempe. At 22-years old and standing at 6'9", 255 pounds, its undeniable that he's the enforcer on the roster for New York. He's a star that plays an old school game by finishing hits in a gritty fashion.
Rempe was also one of the Rangers' most improved players during the 2024-25 year.
"I think I improved a lot, especially from last year," Rempe also said. "From the beginning of the season to the end, I think a lot of development happened. My game got a lot better. I still got a lot of work to do. I still want to work on all parts of my game. I made big strides from last year, so that was good."
The Alberta, Canada native always brought energy and made a positive impact when he was on the ice. Remps' significant improvements this year earned him a regular spot in the New York lineup and helped him gain more confidence. He demonstrated a better understanding of his role and finished with eight points and 117 hits.
Among those points were five assists and three goals across 42 games played. It's only natural that one of the players with the hardest work ethics and a desire for aggressive playmaking will enjoy playing for Sullivan.
