The 26-year-old defenseman has been a Blueshirt since he was 21 and since then has grown into a fantastic leader.

In his first year with the “C” on his jersey, he led the Rangers to the top of the league to win the Presidents’ Trophy.

McDonagh also logged eight goals and 25 assists over 71 games (missing quite a few due to a shoulder injury), finishing with a superb +23 plus/minus in the regular season. He also went on to score three goals and tally six assists in the Playoffs.

With that said, here are the Captain’s top goals of the 2014-15, starting with number five.
