#10: Antti Raanta

Raanta has had an incredible year with the Rangers as the backup goalie behind Henrik Lundqvist. His contract makes it even better.

Raanta is signed at $1,000,000 through 2017-2018. This season, Raanta is 15-7-2 through 24 starts with the Rangers. Meaning, the Rangers paying Raanta roughly $66,600 per win.

To put that into perspective, the Rangers are essentially paying Lundqvist $316,000 per win.

Raanta comes in at ten on this list because he can only be so effective on a day-to-day basis. He isn’t the Rangers starting goalie, and he wont be come playoff time unless Lundqvist isn’t healthy.

However, in a broad spectrum, having a backup goalie that can be this effective at this price makes him very valuable to the New York Rangers.
