Erik Karlsson’s Injury

Erik Karlsson blocked a shot on March 28 in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Little did anyone know that Karlsson suffered two hairline fractures in his foot. After the Senators eliminated the Boston Bruins in six games, Karlsson came out and told the media that he has been playing with the two fractures in his foot.

It is not known for sure if Karlsson’s two fractures will be fully healed by the time the series with the New York Rangers begins. The Rangers will need to try to take as much advantage as possible though with Karlsson possibly still ailing from his injuries.

The New York Rangers are going to have to remain as physical as they were against the Montreal Canadiens. They will need to hit Karlsson and make him as uncomfortable as possible through out the series.
