New York Rangers: Who are the fan favorite Rangers?

First of all, I want to thank Tim Haggerty for choosing the picture of Greg Bird. If you do not already know this, Greg Bird is the greatest athlete to ever walk the earth. I understand this is a hockey blog, but Bird deserves to be appreciated at all times. Please take a moment to appreciate Greg Bird. Thank you.

Anyway, hockey! My favorite Ranger is Ryan McDonagh. I once owned a Michael Del Zotto jersey because he played an offensive-minded game, and I love that in a defenseman. With Ryan McDonagh, however, the talent is even greater.

McDonagh’s abilities to lead the team in the locker-room, on the ice, and deal with the adversity thrown his way (*cough Dan Girardi cough) cannot be understated. Truly he is one of the top defensemen in the game, and watching him play every night is a treat.

As I said, I love me some offense from the blue-line.
