James Van Riemsdyk
The 28 year old Van Riemsdyk is currently a left winger for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He started his NHL career with the Philadelphia Flyers, but he really started to shine once he started playing for the Maple Leafs.
Since the start of his time with Toronto in 2012-2013, he has remained rather consistent for the team except for one season. In that first season with them, he posted a total of 32 points in 48 games.
Since then, he has played three full seasons except for 2015-2016. In that season, he played in only 40 games and recorded 29 points. In 2013-2014, he recorded 30 goals and 31 assists for 61 points.
Last season, he beat that personal record. He posted 29 goals and 33 assists for a total of 62 points. These impressive numbers are proof that he is an excellent player and someone the Rangers would love to be able to have on their roster.
He is a potential trade target for the Rangers. However, it might not happen too soon, considering they are looking for a center now and not a winger.
