A change of scenery can help a player get out of a slump, and New York could be the place for that change to happen. Some of these seven players could fit well on the Rangers’ roster.

A recent article published by TheScore lists seven NHL players that may be in need of a “change in scenery”. All seven players are not playing up to their full potential, and could benefit from a trade. But would any of these players fit well on the Rangers roster?

The Rangers had a slow start this season. The team lacks depth at center after trading Derek Stepan in the offseason. The defense is also inconsistent despite signing free agent Kevin Shattenkirk.

One of the options the Rangers could take is more trading. Some of the players on this list could make an impact if they came to New York. In fact, some have been part of trade rumors already. However, some could come at a price that the Rangers won’t match.
