The New York Rangers have announced that Alain Vigneault has coached his last game. It was a rough year for the Rangers and the management has started to change what went wrong.

It was quite the run for Alain Vigneault’s New York Rangers. There was a Stanley Cup Finals appearance, a Presidents Trophy, and multiple deep playoff runs under Vigneault.

However, the Rangers had seen enough after the Rangers failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2009-2010. Vigneault wasnt all of the problem, but he certainly was a significant part of it.
