This season was not kind for the New York Rangers.

The New York Rangers  had quite an eventful season, seeing their captain, among many, traded over the course of this “retooling” season. The Rangers have lost a great deal of their former core in J.T. Miller, Ryan McDonagh, Rick Nash, and this changed the Rangers drastically.

The Rangers played quite a few hurtful games, shutout six times over the 82 game season. The Ranges lost 39 games in regulation and 9 more in the extra frames. Despite the rather upsetting circumstances, the Rangers move into the off-season with high hopes.

What makes a game disappointing? The most hurtful quality of a game is when it is a blowout. Despite the Rangers usually putting up an effort, this season was full of some tough games to watch.

Let us take a look at the games that hurt the most for the New York Rangers this season, in no particular order.
