During Ryan McDonagh’s eight seasons with the New York Rangers, they enjoyed a tremendous amount of success during both the playoffs and the regular season. Blue Line Station looks at the five best regular season games with McDonagh in a Rangers sweater.

Between McDonagh’s call-up to the New York Rangers in the midst of the 2010-2011 season and his trade to Tampa Bay this spring, the Rangers were one of the best regular season teams in the NHL.

They made the playoffs in all but McDonagh’s first season, until this year, and won the President’s Trophy in 2015.

Not only that, but the Rangers were given opportunities to play on the biggest stages: two Winter Classics and two Stadium Series games. Not all of those games were premium entertainment, but a few did stand out.

With that kind of success, it was inevitable that the Rangers would have some memorable regular season games (and playoff games) along the way.
