With the release of the full 2018-2019 schedule, here are some of the games and match-ups to look forward to for the upcoming Rangers season.

The New York Rangers are in unfamiliar waters this upcoming season. The team has committed to a rebuild and for the first time in a long time will not be considered a playoff contender to begin the season.

However, that does not mean there isn’t intrigue for the season. In fact, the uncertainly of the situation makes it possibly more exciting. The lineup is up in the air. The team will be young and dynamic. And with a brand new coach, there will be a culture change as well.

All this adds up to a fascinating season for the Rangers. Despite the lack of expectations from the outside heading in to the year, the team has the chance to surprise some people. This doesn’t mean they will contend for the playoffs necessarily.

But, if the younger players develop quickly, the turn around could be expedited. With a lot to look forward to next year, here are some games and match-ups that will be intriguing for fans.
