New York Rangers: Five remaining free agents that must be avoided
With the offseason (finally) ending in a little over a month, which players should the New York Rangers avoid signing or bringing into camp?
The New York Rangers currently have room for four more contracts to stay under the league’s limit with about $5.6 million in cap space to spare.
While they have only dipped their toes into UFA pool by bringing in defenseman Fredrick Claesson, the team could look to sign somebody to a contract by the end of August or offer someone a training camp tryout to see what they have.
There are still plenty of good names out there for the Rangers to look at.including Toby Enström, Troy Brouwer, Brandon Davidson and Dominic Moore, above others. But there are also lots of player the team shouldn’t touch with a 28-and-a-half foot poll.
Who are those players and why should they be avoided? Read on to find out.
