My three players of the game

  1. Jesper Fast played another dynamic game. He scored a spectacular goal in the third period and led the team with six hits. He had a wrap around attempt in the third period that just missed. The effort he puts out every game is an example to his teammates.  He’s now scored in two straight games.
  2. Ryan Strome played a solid game against his former team.  He led of the scoring with a first period power play goal and he had an all around good game.  He was 7 of 14 on faceoffs as well.
  3. Kevin Shattenkirk played one of his better games this season.  He seemed to be skating easier and he is at least one Ranger w ho has listened to the coach’s mantra about shooting the puck.  He had thirteen shot attempts including six shots on goal.
