Chris Nell was signed by the Rangers in March of 2017. Since then, he has jumped between NCAA, the AHL, and the ECHL. He has posted mediocre numbers at each level, never truly finding his game.

At this point in his career, Nell is a long shot to making it big in the Rangers’ organization. He is extremely far down the depth chart, and he hasn’t impressed as much as others guarding the twine.
