My three stars of the game

  1. Mika Zibanejad was once again the offensive catalyst for the New York Rangers.  His beautiful pass to Buchnevich resulted in the only New York goal.  You can see the frustration bubbling up in Zibanejad.  The Rangers need to figure out a way to feed him the puck on the power play.
  2. Filip Chytil had a very good game.  He was a force in the offensive zone and he took seven shots.  He’s another Ranger who needs to work on getting his shots on goal.
  3. Brady Skjei was a workhorse on defense, with the most ice time of any Ranger.  He played tough minutes, jumped into the offense and kept the Canucks off the scoreboard when he was on the ice.

Next. Some horrifying lottery scenarios. dark
