New York Rangers: Some new faces at Prospect Development Camp

Hartford Signees

Also on the list are three prospects who are under contract to the Hartford Wolf Pack.   They were all signed to Amateur Tryout contracts at the end of the season and are inked to play this season in Hartford.

Ryan Dmowski , Left Wing – Dmowski, 22,  is a left wing who joined Hartford on an ATO after the conclusion of the UMass-Lowell season.  In his senior year, he had 14 goals and 23 points.in 37 games.  He is a Connecticut native and is 61″, 209 pounds.

Dmowski played 10 games for the Wolf Pack at the tail end of last season with one goal and three assists.

Nick Jones, Center – Jones, 22,  is a center who played the last two years at the University of North Dakota. He was second on the team in goals and points, going 9-11-20 in 26 games. Prior to North Dakota he played two years in the British Columbia Hockey League where he was a top scorer for Penticton.

In ten games for the Wolf Pack Jones had two goals and one assist.  The 23-year old is 5’11” and 185 pounds.

Lewis Zerter-Gossage, Right Wing – Zerter-Gossage, 23, was the captain of the Harvard hockey team and was signed to an ATO by the Wolf Pack with five games left in their season. He led the Crimson with 18 goals this season.  He notched 42 goals and 85 points in his 128 game college career.

In five games in Hartford, Zerter-Gossage scored two goals.

For the prospects not invited to the camp, it is not a good sign.  For players like Sean Day and Ty Ronning it looks like they have graduated from prospect status to minor leaguers.

The camp will run all week at Chelsea Piers Connecticut in Stamford.  So far, there are no plans for MSG Network to do any special programming from the camp.
