Game three against the Flyers

Game three of the preseason is scheduled for tonight at 7 pm against the Philadelphia Flyers. The New York Rangers will be in Philadelphia to face their former coach Alain Vigneault and former center Kevin Hayes for the first time since their respective departures.

Making their  preseason debuts will be Tim Gettinger, Connor Brickley and Matthew Robertson with Shesterkin and Huska sharing the goaltending duties.

The Rangers will look to get the first win of the preseason and will hopefully get to see more out of the players fighting to make the team before making the next round of roster cuts.

The final four games will show you why the NHL preseason is for new linemates, prospects and coaches to try different things to see what works.
