The four game road trip that began with a win in Toronto concludes tonight in Vancouver as the New York Rangers take on a red hot Canucks team.  The Western Canada portion of this trip has not gone well and the Blueshirts will try to end it on a high note.

The New York Rangers hope to halt the Vancouver Canucks’ six game winning streak, the longest active streak in the NHL.  It will be a tall order as the Canucks are firing on all cylinders and have a lethal power play.

The Rangers have to stop their slide towards the bottom of the NHL on defense.  This game will mark the halfway point for the season and the team is seven points out of the final wild card slot and only six teams in the league have fewer points than New York.

The Panarin and Zibanejad lines need to get back on track after being shutout in the last game against Calgary.  The Rangers’ two best players have been skunked in the same game only six times this season and the Blueshirts have lost all six games.

It’s a late start on a Saturday night, but what else is there to do but to talk about the Broadway Blueshirts?  How will they handle a revitalized Canucks offense?  Will Georgiev rebound after his bombardment in Edmonton??

The live thread is open now!

The game can be seen on the MSG Network and the radio call will be on ESPN FM 98.7. Puck drop in 10pm EST.
