New York Rangers: Wasted opportunity in 6-4 loss to the Devils.
By Steve Paulus
My three stars of the game
- Pavel Buchnevich was the best Ranger forward and finished with two assists and four shots.
- It was Brendan Lemieux‘s best game in weeks and though he didn’t the scoreboard, he made his presence know. He took a team leading five shots and also led the team with five hits.
- Adam Fox fanned on a pass and that led to an empty net goal for the Devils, but before that he had played a dynamic game, notching assists on the first two Ranger goals. He led all Ranger defensemen in ice time, playing 22:43.
The official three stars of the game
