My three stars of the game

  1. Pavel Buchnevich was the best Ranger forward and finished with two assists and four shots.
  2. It was Brendan Lemieuxs best game in weeks and though he didn’t the scoreboard, he made his presence know.  He took a team leading five shots and also led the team with five hits.
  3. Adam Fox fanned on a pass and that led to an empty net goal for the Devils, but before that he had played a dynamic game, notching assists on the first two Ranger goals.  He led all Ranger defensemen in ice time, playing 22:43.

The official three stars of the game

  1. Kyle Palmieri
  2. Travis Zajac
  3. Damon Severson

What’s next

After dropping three of four games at Madison Square Garden, the team takes to the more friendly  road for a three game trip to Dallas, Colorado and Arizona.  These are three tough teams and will be a real test.  The road trip starts with a match on Tuesday night versus the Stars in Dallas.
