I’m going to keep this simple. We will overcome the incredible challenges and come out of the Covid-19 pandemic stronger than ever. It doesn’t matter if you are a New York Rangers fan or don’t even know the difference between touchdown or goal because in the upcoming months we will fight as one society.
I know that most of you reading this are probably depressed over the hiatus for the New York Rangers and across all sports and understandably so, as the impact of sports is huge. But the loss of it pales compared to the outbreak that is tearing us apart and changing life as we know it.
Sports brings us together, but that is not what is important right now, it is about defeating Covid-19.
With that, here are my thoughts to our Blue Line Station readers.
Here at Blue Line Station, our main goal is to provide constant up-to-date content about the New York Rangers and we will continue to do so.
Despite the harsh reality of the pain inflicted on our family, friends and ourselves, Covid-19 is not going to put society to rest, but will make us come together as a great nation.
Please listen to local, state, and federal government officials. If we are to overcome this pandemic, it is crucial that we distance ourselves from others, remain in our homes as much as possible, and take extreme measures in regards to our hygiene.
The sad reality is that this outbreak will worsen dramatically over the next couple of weeks, but if we take the necessary precautions, Covid-19 will be defeated and society will return to normalcy.
All of this was driven home very personally. Jack Allard is a 25-year old lifelong Rangers fan who works with my father. He is currently in a coma, hopefully recovering from the horrid symptoms of the coronavirus. Loved by his friends and family, as part of the Blueshirts faithful, let’s raise our sticks and hold a heavy heart for Jack as he battles for his life.
Please join all of us in the Blue Line Station community as we send out thoughts and prayers to Jack and his family.

The most important thing that we can do right now is take care of our families, help those in agony in any way possible, and isolate ourselves. We wish for all to stay safe, healthy, and to have belief.
Stay healthy and stay safe.
