4. Wayne Simmonds

If the Rangers are looking to replace Jesper Fast, or at least find another right-winger to put into the lineup, they may want to consider Wayne Simmonds.

The former Flyer and current Buffalo Sabre has not had the success he has wanted since he was traded from Philadelphia to Nashville at the 2019 Trade Deadline, only scoring nine goals in 85 games with the Predators, Devils and Sabres.

Fast is set to become a free agent and may need to be replaced if he decides to move on from the Rangers. Simmonds has struggled over the past couple of seasons, but that does not mean that he cannot be a valuable player on the Rangers. After all, if he plays on the Panarin line, he may see his point numbers increase.

He is an aggressive winger, which is what the Rangers could use on a couple of the top lines. Look no further than Simmonds, who is going to see his salary decreased this season after signing a one-year, $5 million contract with the Devils last off-season.
