New York Mets: Pete Alonso and Michael Conforto

This is a close one. This Mets duo is very comparable to the Blueshirts. Alonso and Panarin both won Rookie of the Year in their first seasons (Panarin in 2015, Alonso in 2019), and Zibanejad and Confroto have both proven that they are stars but do not have honors to go along with it. This is the toughest one yet.

Verdict: Panarin and Zibanejad. The edge was given to the Rangers because of Panarin’s Hart nomination. Alonso and Conforto have failed to make it as an MVP finalist yet.

New York Yankees: Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge

I know tons of people are going to get mad at me for what I decide. Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge are two of the best power hitters in the MLB. When they step up to the plate, every opposing fan gets nervous. But, neither have showed that they can stay healthy for an entire season.

On top of that, when Judge came back from injury last year, he just did not look the same. This was the opposite with Zibanejad, as he went on an absolute tear, starting with a goal three minutes into his first game back.

Verdict: Panarin and Zibanejad. Until Stanton and Judge play close to a full season, I have to lean with the Blueshirts.
