#4 The Vezina Trophy

In 2012, Lundqvist became just the fifth Ranger to win the NHL’s award for its top goaltender. “The King” posted personal single-season bests in wins (39), GAA (1.97), and Sv% (.930) and joined Dave Kerr (1940), Gilles Villemure/Eddie Giacomin (1971), and John Vanbiesbrouck (1986) as the team’s only Vezina winners. He also finished third in voting for the Hart Trophy as league MVP. .

The Rangers rode Lundqvist to a 51-24-7 record for 109 points and the Atlantic Division title. Unfortunately for him and the team, those accomplishments were overshadowed by a loss to the rival New Jersey Devils in the Conference Finals in six games. The Devils, who finished the campaign with 102 points, lost to the Los Angeles Kings in the Stanley Cup Finals in six games.

Next up: 88 saves in two games and another team record.
