My 3 Rangers stars of the game

K’Andre Miller

was a force on defense and chipped in with a timely goal that gave the Rangers a two goal lead.  He played the most minutes of any Ranger.  He led all defensemen with three shots on goal with a plus/minus rating of +2.

  • Artemi Panarin had yet another multi-point game and proves that as Panarin goes, so go the Rangers.  Panarin drove the offense, not hesitating to shoot and finishing with assists on the goals by Colin Blackwell and K’Andre Miller.
  • TIE -It’s impossible to pick one over the other of these two players.

    1. Alexis Lafrenière played a very solid game, scoring the first goal and leading the team with five shots on goal.   You cannot underestimate the importance of scoring that first goal and Lafrenière  delivered after a fabulous shift in the Islanders’ zone.
    2. Alexandar Georgiev had the challenge of playing for the first time in three weeks against arguably the best team in the NHL.   He played a fabulous first period, making numerous saves that have to be seen as game savers.

    The official three stars

    1. Artemi Panarin
    2. K’Andre Miller
    3. Alexis Lafrenière
