The 2020-21 season comes to an end this afternoon for the New York Rangers as they take on the Boston Bruins in their 56th and final game.  A season that was full of hope and promise just two weeks ago is ending on a down note with two weeks full of injuries, losses and controversy.

The Blueshirts will try to end their five game losing streak against a Boston team that still has a lot to play for as they are fighting to move into one of the top two slots in the East Division.  Although the Rangers season will be over, the Bruins still two more games after this one and they are two points behind the Capitals and four points behind first place Pittsburgh.

If the Rangers are to have any hope of winning, they need to put on a better show than they did on Thursday night when they hardly mustered any offense in a listless 4-0 loss.  They are still a depleted squad and will need to work really hard to salvage at least a point from this game.
