The New York Rangers are in a prime position to compete for a playoff position this upcoming season. They have the talent and the toughness to be in the thick of things come springtime. However, the journey will not be easy.

The Metropolitan Division is one of the best divisions in all of sports boasting teams such as the Capitals, Islanders, Flyers, Penguins, and Hurricanes who have all made the playoffs the past three seasons.
