My 3 Rangers stars

Artemi

Panarin

was the Rangers offense this game.  He was the best Ranger player and the Blackhawks had no answer for him.  Panarin enjoys tormenting his former teams and this game was no exception.

  • Adam Fox had another brilliant game, leading the team in ice time and padding his league leading offensive totals. It’s a marvel at how Fox joins the offense at precisely the right time as was evident on his second period goal.  We also overlook his work in the defensive zone where he was excellent and led the blueliners with three blocks.
  • Alexandar Georgiev

had to be good and he was.  He made some special stops including the one off his helmet on a Kirby Dach shot in the third period.  At least one of the two goals they scored definitely should have been disallowed.

    The official 3 stars

    1. Artemi Panarin
    2. Alexandar Georgiev
    3. Ryan Strome

    What’s next

The Rangers get to play the Blackhawks again on Tuesday, this time at the United Center.  It’s a brief one game road trip and they come home to face the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. They finish the week with a road game against the Sabres on Friday.

It’s a busy stretch of games, but nothing appears to faze this team.
