My 3 Rangers stars of the game

Adam Fox

had a hand in all three Ranger goals, with the primary assist on Mika Zibanejad’s power play goal, keeping the puck in the offensive zone on the Chytil goal and then taking the shot that Kreider deflected for the winning goal.

Just another day at the office.  He led all Rangers with 24:13 minutes of ice time.

  • Artemi Panarin played his best game since coming back from COVID. He was shooting more and made the great pass to Filip Chytil for the tying goal in the third period. He finished with two assists and looked the Breadman of old, a great sign for the Rangers.   He’s seventh in the NHL in assists.
  • Mika Zibanejad scored that first power play goal and he was the best player on the ice for most of the game.  His subtle move was not playing the puck in third period, allowing it to go to Adam Fox for the shot.  It was a smart, veteran move.
  • The official 3 stars

    1. Chris Kreider – Rangers
    2. Cam York – Flyers
    3. Adam Fox – Rangers

    What’s next

No game until Wednesday night when they play the Toronto Maple Leafs for the last time this season. The first two games ended with identical 2-1 scores with the Rangers winning in overtime and the Leafs taking the second game.

After Toronto, it’s back on the road to take on the Carolina Hurricanes in what may be most anticipated meeting of the season so far.
