Rangers vs Red Wings Prediction
The Rangers are absolutely dominant at home, winning eight of their last nine behind the stellar play of goalie Igor Shesterkin. He’s running away with the Hart Trophy and has a case for MVP, and his ability to prevent goals is the single-largest reason the Rangers are having a great season.
Detroit, meanwhile, has lost six of ten and is just 11-26 on the season as an underdog. Young phenom Tyler Bertuzzi has been sensational, but their inconsistency as a team has plagued them.
After an impressive win over Boston, the Rangers should welcome this dip in competition but may be tired after a grueling battle. I like New York to win, but -190 is a hefty price to pay. And while the Rangers are 21-5 on the moneyline, they’re just 9-17 on the puckline as a favorite.
