The New York Rangers go into their fourth elimination game this postseason, the most of any playoff team.  They haven’t lost yet and they hope that a Madison Square Garden crowd will spur them to keep their undefeated streak going. Meanwhile, Carolina will be looking to finally win a road game and end this series.

There’s not a lot to say about this game.  If the teams play true to form, the Rangers will win and force a seventh game.  The Hurricanes have had a baffling home and away record and you can be sure that they want to get over that.  If Carolina can advance they will own home ice against Tampa and Edmonton with only Colorado possessing a better record.

It’s been radio silence from the team since yesterday so there is no word on how the lines will shape up.   We all know what the Rangers are up against.  It’s all on them.
