After the first month of the NHL season, the New York Rangers are starting to find some continuity. The team has a record of 5-3-2, and besides a four-game losing streak sandwiched in the middle, they have looked pretty decent. At the same time, they have had their struggles, and a four-game losing streak to San Jose, Columbus, Colorado, and the Islanders show that.

While there are many things that are still unresolved, there are a few takeaways that can be made in this early season.
