Two years ago, adidas and the NHL revealed Reverse Retro uniforms. They looked great and the new styles made for an impressive debut. In fact, the second the first wave of uniforms were finalized, design teams started to think about the 2.0.

It took nearly 800 days, but it was worth it.

The NHL and adidas are really excited about the Reverse Retro line. They think fans will be just as hyped as they were two years ago.

“It’s really emotional,” Brian Jennings, Chief Brand Officer and Senior Executive VP at the NHL, told NHL.com. “It’s been a long process, but when we see the fan responses, that’s the most rewarding part about the job.”

“The Lady Liberty jersey returns in the Rangers’ present color palette. The shoulder patches and crest tie back to the original jersey while white and silver details create a glistening appearance around the historic New York statue.”
