When these two hockey clubs met earlier in the year, the Rangers were able to walk away with a 7-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild. Since then, so much has changed for both clubs. New York has seen five seasons worth of highs and lows, the Minnesota Wild have corrected their downward spiral, and these two franchises even made a trade as the Wild picked up a member of the Rangers roster.
Tonight will mark the night that the Grim Reaver, Ryan Reaves will return to New York. Reaves was shipped out to the North Star State back at the end of November. It was thought at the time that Reaves had asked for a trade but the player has since come out saying that was “half true and half a lie” suggesting that the wheels had been in motion on this deal long before Reaves started to discuss his situation.
For New York tonight, it is out there that the Rangers could include Jonny Brodzinski tonight who has not played since he left the team to be with his wife when she went into labor. If he does get into the lineup tonight, he is expected to take the place of Sammy Blais. Blais is still looking for his first goal as a New York Ranger so seeing Brodzinski draw in for the extra physicality wi
