Get ready for the New York Rangers’ 2023-24 season opener against the Buffalo Sabres and a possible change in the team’s social media slogan.

Guess what’s happening in the Big Apple? They’re adding a splash of blue and red to Hudson Yards with a Rangers mural! It’s a masterpiece that proudly showcases Madison Square Garden, complete with the iconic “Hey Taxi” cab, all drenched in Rangers’ colors. It’s a testament to the team’s presence in the city

Now, while the mural captures the essence of  Blueshirts fandom, it’s not the only thing fans have been watching. The 2023-24 season opener in Buffalo is a week away  and the excitement is building up.

Staying on the advertising side, one question remains: Will the Rangers’ social media team stick with the “No Quit in NY” slogan for another season, or is it time for a fresh start? It’s a topic of debate among fans.

While the motto has been a source of pride for the last two years, it also brings back memories of last season. It recalls the pain of the boys in blue bowing out 4-0 in game seven against the New Jersey Devils, especially after taking a commanding 2-0 series lead.

As the season approaches, fans are eager to see what new narratives and slogans the Rangers will unveil. Will it be a fresh rallying cry to fuel the team’s spirit? We’ll soon find out what’s in store for New York, and it’s sure to be an exciting ride!

And speaking of rides, let’s hope the Rangers’ journey this season is more like a heap of victories than a taxi ride to disappointment.

After their opening match in Buffalo,  the Blueshirts will travel  to Columbus for an October 14th tilt with the Blue Jackets before the home opener against the Arizona Coyotes on October 16th.
