The New York Rangers' roster stands just over 6'1.5" on average put together. That includes having five players under 6'0" and just under five players at 6'5" or taller.

K'Andre Miller, Carson Soucy, Adam Edstrom and Matt Rempe all make up the taller end of the Rangers' roster. And in terms of average height the Blueshirts are still above the league average of around 6'1.3" while featuring four players at 6'5" or over. Meaning, the Rangers have one of the tallest rosters in the National Hockey League.

Let's briefly run through the taller Blueshirts and what they bring to the roster.

3. K'Andre Miller, Carson Soucy - 6'5"

Unfortunately, despite K'Andre Miller and Carson Soucy's sizes the pair still face their fair share of obstacles.

For Miller — he doesn't always use his size to his advantage. His play does not often feature that physicality that comes with being one of the bigger players on the ice. In simpler terms he just doesn't impact the game as much as should given his stature.

Though, it is important to acknowledge Miller is only 25-years-old and still tallied 27 points across the year.

For Soucy — In March, Soucy waived his no-trade clause to join the Rangers. The Rangers acquired him from the Vancouver Canucks on a Thursday in an attempt to bolster their back end. Unfortunately, the 30-year-old player didn't meet expectations. Since making his Rangers debut on March 8, Soucy recorded a measly three points (two assists, one goal).

Hopefully Soucy and Miller will be able to put the 2024-25 season behind them and play to their height's advantage in the following year.

2. Adam Edstrom - 6'7"

Throughout 51 games played during the 24-25 campaign, Edstrom scored five goals and four assists for a total of nine points. However, following exiting the Rangers' loss to the Bruins in February — he was then officially out for two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half months with a lower-body injury.

The Sweden native stands at 6'7" and weighs 241 pounds; not all guys his size can but Edstrom also has the unique ability to play all forward positions.

Prior to his injury Edstrom had been a bright spot for the Blueshirts in the bottom six and played around 9:16 per game. He brought a powerful presence to the ice, and he'd been pretty effective keeping his nose clean while still playing a physical game.

1. Matt Rempe - 6'9"

Ah, yes. The Rangers tallest man on the roster.

The 22-year-old finished with eight points and 117 hits all while enduring unfair treatment from referees and an eight-game suspension.

He always brought energy and made a positive impact when he was on the ice. The Alberta, Canada demonstrated a better understanding of his role, focusing on specific aspects of his game and became more reliable in both offense and defense. His significant improvements resulted in him averaging at or around 8:30 TOI per game, around a three minute increase from the previous year.

Plus, one cannot forgot to mention his physicality he brings to the ice as the enforcer.
