Madison Square Garden is normally home for the New York Rangers and Knicks for home games. But on Monday, "The World's Most Famous Arena" played host for WWE's weekly television show Monday Night RAW. Considering it was MSG, the stars were out to watch some professional wrestling.

During the show, members of the New York Giants were sitting ringside, including rookie sensation running back Cam Skattebo, who was donning a Matt Rempe Rangers Centennial jersey. During the commercial break, Skattebo had a confrontation with heel (villain) wrestler Dominik Mysterio after shoving comedian Andrew Schulz. Skattebo stood up to Mysterio and his Judgment Day group members, Finn Balor and J.D. McDonagh. After McDonagh talked trash about the Giants defense, Skattebo shoved him to the ground, leading to a brawl.

Skattebo brawling while wearing a Rempe jersey and being in a walking boot with a surgically repaired ankle? Talk about a vibe.

Talk about a moment made in the New York sports scene. While Skattebo was in the forefront of the brawl, he was joined in the brawl with the Judgment Day by fellow Giants players Abdul Carter and Roy Robertson-Harris.

Much like Skattebo, Rempe is currently on the sidelines due to an injury. The Rangers winger hasn't played since getting into a fight with Ryan Reaves of the San Jose Sharks on Oct. 23. There has been no specifics about what Rempe is dealing with, but it's been described as an upper body injury that could keep him out until later in the season.

Rempe quickly endeared himself to the Rangers fan base due in part to his physical play and his willingness to get into fights with the opposition. Through his three seasons in the NHL, Rempe has five goals and six assists to his credit, while racking up 145 penalty minutes.

As for Skattebo, Giants fans had to be stunned seeing the rookie getting into a shoving match at a wrestling event, weeks after suffering a broken ankle. Skattebo had been one of the Giants' lone bright spots in a dismal 2-9 season, but he suffered an open dislocation to his right ankle, requiring emergency surgery. It was also determined that Skattebo suffered a fractured fibula and a ruptured deltoid ligament. Skattebo is expected to be out for the rest of this season.

Skattebo is a mad man when he's running the football so it's not shocking to see him get into a "brawl" at a WWE event. Perhaps he was more inspired by wearing the Rempe jersey at MSG.
