Players to watch

Artemi Panarin

Panarin spent two seasons with the Blue Jackets and posted a line of 55-114-169 before signing a lucrative contract with the Rangers in free agency. The Blueshirts' winger had a slow start to the season, but has nine points over his last five games which includes four assists against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He enjoyed scoring goals in Nationwide Arena, and look for him to try and continue doing so for the Rangers on Saturday evening.

Alexis Lafrenière

Lafrenière has scored in back-to-back games for the Rangers and has six points in his last five games. He sits third on the team in scoring, and is starting to get rewarded for his play. There was tons of concern and opinions about his performance to start the season, but slowly and surely the tide is turning. Tonight is an opportunity for Lafrenière to keep the momentum going, and he is in a good spot to capitalize.

Taylor Raddysh

Raddysh has been a bit quiet lately for the Rangers after previously being an unexpected bright spot and source of offense. He's been pushed down the lineup, and is skating on a line with Adam Edstrom and Sam Carrick. The Blue Jackets have a pretty formidable group of forwards, and Saturday's game could be a case where the team with the better overall depth has the most impact. This is a spot for Raddysh to get back on the board, and the Rangers certainly could use some production from the bottom six.
