It's game day for the New York Rangers. Another Original Six clash is on deck as the Rangers face the Boston Bruins. For the third time in just over a month, these two teams will clash from Madison Square Garden as two franchises look for the two points. These two teams split their previous two meetings, with the Bruins getting the better of the Rangers last week in Beantown, so the Rangers will look to build on their win against Vegas tonight.

Jonathan Quick won his 400th career NHL game the last time the Rangers took to the Garden ice, but the reigns are set to be handed back to Igor Shesterkin today as he looks to continue to build on a good start to 2025. He's wobbled in the recent week, but he can cement his spot as the best goaltender in the NHL with a few great games in a row tonight.

Adam Edstrom is out for the next two to three months as the Rangers look for a new way to build a solid fourth line. Matt Rempe and Sam Carrick will look for a new linemate with whom to continue building chemistry. During their strong play this calendar year, New York's fourth line has been the best of the four for the Rangers, so either Jimmy Vesey or Arthur Kaliyev must play well in their respective roles.

Puck Drop

Tonight's game starts at 7 p.m. from Madison Square Garden. New York needs to get the two points to close the gap in the wild card race. Boston needs the points for the same reasons. Building on the emotional win over the Vegas Golden Knights would be a great way to start February. New York began January well, and building on that could be significant for this team
